Fantastic Hotel, enjoyed my stay immensley. The rate for the occasion, a Company Retirement dinner was excellent, considering there was two big shows on locally on the same date. I will be back to book accomodation again through RoomexHotels.com. Barry K....

Stayed in the ballsbridge inn in Dublin 4 When I arrived the girl on the front desk was not sure if I was staying in the ballsbridge inn or the ballsbridge tower....I had to sho her my reservation before she could get me a room. I asked was there parking prior to my arrival and told no. On arrive I saw there was parking for over 200 cars !! The room was basic and I would not call it four star conditions. Bathroom needs to be update. Bed was comfortable. On checking out the next day was told that I owed money on the room. When I told them that I paid in full on the website she wouldn't belive me and said that this was impossible that you can only pay a booking deposit on the website. I had to go back to my room and get my reservation details and show her that the room was paid in full, only then was I allowed to leave. Please feel free to contact me if you have any quesitons, regards, shane c....

Stayed one night - impressed with neatness of room.Unfortunately advertised wirless internet not available in bedroom.Breakfast very good but service very poor.Dubliner pub expensive for ordinary glass of wine.Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Rating: 3/5

Only issue I would have is car parking which I get free with other hotels

Rating: 4/5

The hotel room was very comfortable, but for a 4 star would have been nice to have some water in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities either. The information we got at reception about breakfast was incorrect (pricing). The continental breakfast was poor - didn't include meats/cheese and they ran out of pastries so you had to wait! Not good if you're on a tight schedule. Overall though it is a good location, and the room was comfortable and very spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception hall was designed and set up beautifully! You couldn't fault the room in any way, being clean and tidy with the usual comforts, the way a 4 star hotel room should be. Staff very friendly, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay !

Rooms clean and staff accomodating and friendly. Check-in and out was swift. my only qualm was the parking which I thought was a bit on the expensive side

Lovely room, perfect location. Staff all very helpful and nice, DEFINITELY will stay again!!! ANd great price too!!

I though the Hotel was nice and clean. However there was no information of what time to check out. I also didnt appreciate being woke up so early by accomodation staff. it was around 9am. I read there was also free parking but they tried to charge me 7.50 for parking.

I really missed not having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Had to skip breakfast on day one as there was just one person on duty on a very busy day. Patrick Clifford. Date of stay - 22nd and 23rd April 2008.

No TV remote control in room Room has smell of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room Front reception does not have good knowledge. For example, told us that Guiness Storehouse is just round the corner when that is clearly not the case.

Had an enjoyable stay in the d4hotel and will be back again in the near future.

I found the hotel just about adequate. The room was clean but a bit threadbear in parts and the hair-dryer was not working. It appears to me that they are operating the hotel on a minimal budget, riding out time until they achieve their goal of planning permission for apartments. Couldn't fault the staff in the Dubliner and location was great but i would avoid the rooms if you were staying more than the one night.

Stayed at the hotel for one night. Had no fault with the hotel, only that perhaps there should have been more staff on the reception desk, especially at this particular weekend. Thank god for the Zumo smoothie bar that was there too, it was quite warm the day i arrived and there was nothing more refreshing than a nice cool smoothie. Although the hotel is a bit of a walk to the city centre, there was a taxi rank just outside the hotel which sorted that problem. The room was spacious and clean, perhaps a bit old fashioned but that didnt really bother me. It was quite busy the night i stayed and thought that there would be a lot of noise but to my delight there was not much at all. Overall, i'd recommend this hotel to friends & family but expect to pay for taxi's in & out to city centre!

We booked two rooms in the Ballsbridge Inn for 2 nights and it was the most awful experience in a hotel that I have ever had, there was no water at all in the taps or shower, the phone in the room did not work and when I used the hairdryer smoke came out of it!!! After not being able to have a shower, we went downstairs for breakfast, I got really burnt scrambled eggs! The whole stay was awful and I suspect the place will be closed in the very near future!

Rating: 1/5

Our stay involved business and pleasure and I would rank it 6 out of 10. The reason why it has not received a 9 or 10 out of 10 related to the smoke smell in the 1st and 2nd rooms that we tried. That being said the staff were exceptionally helpful in persisting with our request to get a room that was satisfactory. I would be happy to give a thumbs up to anyone thinking of staying.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, entertaining bar, very clean and comfortable rooms.

Firstly it was slightly difficult to find. But after ringing hotel and being told it was actually the old Jurys hotel, found it easily enough. Plenty of car parking which is good. Reception area very impressive and clean. Area to sit and read off reception was very nice. Check in easy and efficient, all staff we met were extremely nice and helpful. The room itself was a bit of a disappointment, net curtains and windows were filthy. Otherwise room was ok - nothing exciting but fine apart from that. Looked at room in the Towers, they seem to be far nicer than the rooms at the Ballsbridge Inn, so if we were going again would pay the extra to stay there. The only downside to that is that you access both hotels through the one reception, so its quite a distance to the rooms in the Towers. Bar at the Inn was nice and sociable, an Irish bar!

I have stayed in D4 many times but the last time I was disappointed, when I got into the room the window had been left open the room was freezing, The light on entering the room blew and I reported it straight away but it was still not replaced by the time I was leaving I'm staying again Bank Holiday weekend so hopefully that was a once off experience

whilst the staff at the ballsbridge inn were great and the food in the dubliner bar was nothing short of fantastic ( we ordered half a chicken each) and recived the biggest chicken we have ever seen - it was simply wonderfull the room we were given was of a lesser standard to the food ! One of the three towls was definitly not clean The net curtains in the room were also unclean and only one shampoo and one (tiny) bar of soap in the bathroom !!!!!!!!! the above three wouldnt put me off going back tho - if only for the food

Stayed in Ballsbridge Inn for one night. Was very impressed with the hotel. Thought the staff were exceptional, especially the bar staff, one in particular from Brazil, I think!? Had food in bar which was excellent, altogether had a lovely stay and would recommend the Ballsbridge to anyone!!

Easy to get to on the Aircoach bus. Very practical and straight forward.

Interesting hotel in great location close to U.S. Embassy and RDS. Good restaurants and coffee shops close by. The hotel is a beautiful place somewhat living on it's past grandeur. Our room was a bit tired and amenities were lacking ie 1 little shampoo, 1 coffee packet. The bed was quite comfortable and staff were friendly. Pub and restaurant a little pricey for our taste but there are other options very close. I will stay there again for a conference in February. Roomex reservations work great!

Nice room, parking available at €7.50 for the night. Good rates. Friendly staff.

Rating: 4/5

Room provided was located next to the lift with the result that nosie levels were very high. Given that the Hotel was not overly busy one felt that with a little thought the receptionist would have been aware of this and provided a room that was better located.

We booked through Roomex.com and got a great price of €74 for a Double room + €7.50 for parking. This was the night of the Ireland V All Blacks game so very reasonably priced based on the night that was in it. The Dubliner bar has a good atmosphere and very good pub food ! The room was spacious bright and clean. The only downside is drink in the bar went up and up as the night went on and staff levels are at a minimum. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay and the dart is only a 5 minute walk, so very easy access to city centre. Would recommend based on price alone, through Roomex.com

Was staying there with a friend for one night, as we are doing a course with the IPA. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff on reception and in the bar were helpful and friendly. would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed the stay. Rooms were really clean. Bathroom could do with a refurb though. The staff on reception were really friendly and helpful. Very good location. Taxi rank right outside the grounds of the hotel.

I was a recent visitor to your hotel, and I was so impressed with the value I recieved that I felt compelled to register my level of satisfaction. I was very impressed with almost everything with the hotel, ranging from the cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness of the staff. For this level of service and comport I would expect to pay a premium, but to get all this for just €75 represents really good value. Thanks you for a very pleasant stay and I look forward to staying with you again when I return to the capital.
