O'Connell Street is Dublin's main thoroughfare and contains the GPO and the Spire. It meets Parnell Square to the north and the River Liffey to the south and provides a convenient base to explore Dublin city from for those that stay here.

O'Connell Street has seen significant investment in recent years in an attempt to make it more pedestrian friendly. This has succeeded and it is a must visit street for any visitor to Dublin.
