We had a good stay at the Louis Fitzgerald. It was the birthday of one of our party. The hotel facilities were excellent. The rooms were modern and very minimalist - one of the nicest set ups we've seen so far. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. A true example of what a 4* star hotel should be. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant was well located close to the reception area. The choice and quality of food was excellent. We ate at the adjoining restaurant "Joels" for dinner and this was faultless. The hotel also run a shuttle bus to the Luas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good location and value for money

The standard and quality of the hotel were fine. However, buses do NOT stop outside the front door and it is NOT beside the LUAS, as stated in the hotel details both on the web site and in the hotel itself. We had a 15 minute walk from the LUAS or the nearest bus stop every time we returned. There is transport available to the LUAS but we had to pay for this and this service is only until 6.00 pm. We were fortunate that it did not rain. I telephoned the hotel twice before we left home but no mention was made of any of this and in fact we were given incorrect information by the staff. It was my wife's 65th birthday and was supposed to be a romantic 3 day break but she spent the first day almost in tears. We were VERY disappointed! They even tried to charge us for drinks that we didn't have!!

From the moment we arrived we were made feel special. The receptionist could not do enough to made sure we were happy. The rooms were first class,as you would expect for a new hotel.Easy parking. We ate in the restaurant and it was a little pricy, but then we were in Dublin. We look forward to our next visit to The Louis Fitzgerald.

My wife and myself stayed for one night only on 2nd Jan'08,a really cold day, but the welcome we received once entering through the revolving doors both from the hotel heating and the very pleasant receptionist was very welcoming. The hotel throughout was very bright, clean, modern and so cosy, the shower was a delight to use, the breakfast---really really good, white leather seating, what more can i say.

Although we only stayed at the hotel for one night, I was very impressed. The decor is modern yet inviting. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The staff on the night were most helpful. We arrrived late with our young son and they accommadated us as quickly as they could.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We just went for an over night stay. The man playing the piano in the reception was a really nice touch i thought. The hotel was perfection. Could'nt flaw it at all. The staff were very friendly. Our room was on the ground floor. It was perfect. Spotlessly clean. Oh the carpark attendant was so friendly and helpful. He was there when we arrived and when we left with a big smile on his face. I would recommend the Louis Fitzgerald to all of my friends. I can definately say we will be returning to this hotel!!!

This is a nice modern hotel with good staff prompt service and good food The location isnt brilliant but if you dont mind a 15 minute walk to the tram through an industrial atmosphere you will catch a tram to the City Centre ( I was happy to get back to the hotel after the city centre) The only negative was the poor internet service which Im sure will eventually be fixed and a food and beverage machine which was difficult to use (no easy instructions) at the end of the hallway Will stay there again Excellent value for money compared to other Irish Hotels

Good craic at the Louis Fitzgerald, as the Isish would say! Lovely hotel. Very clean and modern. Excellect service. Tasty breakfast, and plenty of it! It is a fair distance from the centre of Dublin, but easy enough (and cheap enough!) to use the LUAS tram system. There's always some kind of Irish banter on it to pass the journey time too (about 20mins!) No complaints, but if i really had to be picky... only thing it lacks is possibly a swimming pool! Had a fantastic stay and would definately stay again. Highly recommended!
